Ackroo is seeking a Client Success Director (CSD) for a full time, permanent position at our Hamilton office. Building the next generation of gift card, loyalty rewards, marketing, and payment products, you will join a dynamic, fast-paced and highly skilled team that strives to deliver excellence in customer experience.

 

This is a multifaceted role, which requires abilities in B2B sales, client retention and account management. Reporting to the Director of Onboarding & Client Success, the CSD will support Ackroo’s SMB and Enterprise-level accounts. You will join a dynamic, fast-paced and highly skilled team with lots of opportunity for growth. You should be self-motivated, energetic, and have a passion for Sales, Account management and Customer Service.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Achieve sales growth through new business (inbound and direct sales) and ownership of existing key accounts
  • Identify and qualify new leads and target new sales opportunities through cold calling and personal outreach within your assigned industry segment, including but not limited to: Automotive, Retail, Hospitality and Petroleum industries
  • Achieve sales targets based on pre-determined metrics established by the sales leadership team
  • Effectively present all of Ackroo’s Online, Point-of-Sale, and Payment products for new and existing merchants
  • Develop relationships with newly acquired leads, from education, solution and selection phase in order to close them as a client
  • Manage key accounts and act as lead point of contact for all customer communication and account management matters; maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and support for all products and services
  • Coach merchants on leveraging the Ackroo suite of products and services to see positive ROI; leverage and understand merchant data to provide sales and marketing strategy and identify growth opportunities
  • Create proposals and execute agreements with clients, collaborating with internal teams including finance to approve program pricing
  • Ensure all proposal, contract, meeting and follow up activity is tracked within our CRM system
  • Submit monthly and quarterly reports on sales forecasts, wins and losses to the sales leadership team
  • Work with internal shared resources such as finance and marketing to identify campaign and promotional activity that will help generate more leads
  • Regular submission of expense reports
  • Attend internal sales presentations and training sessions as required
  • Collaborate with internal teams to communicate customer product feedback


Required Qualifications:

 

  • Minimum 3 years experience in B2B or B2C sales, account management and/or building customer relationships
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, in English
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve set sales goals and targets
  • Proven track record of hunting for leads via various channels and successfully closing sale
  • Strong business development skills in new industry segments and markets
  • Comfortable reaching out and conversing with contacts, potential clients, business owners and business leaders at any level
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team and multi-task across multiple projects and support inquiries
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)


Experience in any of the following would be considered an asset:

 

  • Outbound sales experience
  • Post Secondary education in sales, business, marketing, commerce or other relevant area
  • Experience in Marketing, Payment and/or Rewards
  • Experience in Automotive, Retail, Hospitality and/or Petroleum industries
  • Bilingual English-French, with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, or equivalent sales and business CRM tools
  • Familiarity with delivering webinar presentations for proposal purposes
  • Familiarity with Google Suite tools such as Email, Chat, Meeting, Drive, etc.
